Shinhan Bank Vietnam integrates VNeID with e-KYC process: opening an account without id cards
Ho Chi Minh City, on 02nd March 2026 – Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (“Shinhan Bank”) officially launched the VNeID integration feature in its electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) process on the Shinhan SOL Vietnam application (“SOL App”), allowing customers to verify their identity information and biometrics through the VNeID application without the need of physical Citizen Identity Card. Shinhan Bank is one of the pioneering foreign banks integrating VNeID into the eKYC account opening process.
