Introduction

Garmin Pay is the payment service created by Garmin that enable the users to make contactless payments using Garmin watches and Cards registered on Garmin Pay.

Garmin Pay is available for all Shinhan VISA international credit/debit cards for Consumer/ Corporate customers. Just add your card to Garmin Pay to get started.

How to set up

Step 1: Open the Garmin Connect app or Download it on Google Play/ App Store

Step 2: Create a Garmin account and log in

Step 3: Add your Garmin watch to Garmin Connect app

Step 4: Choose the watch which connected to Garmin Connect, then choose Garmin Pay, tap ‘Add a Card’, create the passcode and input Shinhan Visa card information

Step 5: Choose “Call and ask to speak with a mobile payment specialist at your bank’s customer service line – 19001577” to verify identity.

How to set up tap to pay

Step 1: Just add your Shinhan Visa credit or debit cards to Garmin Pay to get started

Step 2: When it’s ready to pay, choose Garmin Pay icon displayed on Garmin watch, input the passcode, choose the right card (if any), hold a wrist near the card reader to make payment.

To make it safe, easier and more convenient while you are wearing the watch, you can make payments for the rest of the day without entering your passcode again. If you disable heart rate monitoring or remove the watch from your wrist or 24 hours has elapsed since your last passcode entry, you must enter the passcode again before making payment.
