Click to Pay - A Simpler Online Payments

Click to Pay enables Cardholders to make online payments quickly and conveniently without having to remember or re-enter card details every time they shop. Simply activate Click to Pay for your card once. Click to Pay will automatically recognize and display your eligible cards for selection, while card information is encrypted to enhance transaction security and safety.

How to Activate Click to Pay

Step 1: Select the Click to Pay icon ︾

In the Card section on the SOL app, select the Click to Pay icon. The system will display a list of cards eligible for the service.

Step 2: Activate Click to Pay for Your Card ︾

Select the card you wish to use and enable Click to Pay. SOL App will display the Cardholder’s phone number and email address registered with Shinhan Bank.

Step 3: Confirm ︾

Review the Click to Pay Service Registration Form displayed on the Shinhan SOL Vietnam app, select “I have read, understood and agree…”, then tap “Confirm.”

Step 4: Authenticate with M-OTP ︾

Enter your M-OTP to authenticate. Once activation is successful, the system will display a confirmation message.

How to Make a Payment

Step 1: Select Click to Pay ︾

At checkout, look for the Click to Pay icon and select it as your payment method.

Step 2: Verify your phone number ︾

Enter your registered phone number. Visa will identify the Cardholder and send an OTP via SMS and email. Enter the OTP to access the list of Shinhan Bank cards that have been successfully activated for Click to Pay.

Step 3: Select a Card and Complete Payment ︾

Select the Card you want to use and complete the transaction.

How does Click to Pay work?

When shopping on an app or website that supports Click to Pay, Cardholders can simply use the phone number registered with Shinhan Bank to be recognized by Visa.Visa will send an OTP via SMS and email to verify the Cardholder’s request. Cardholders may also select “Skip verification next time” for faster payments in future transactions. The card payment process will then proceed as usual, without the need to manually enter card details. During Click to Pay setup, Cardholders can choose which cards to link. After setup, linked cards can still be changed via the Click to Pay icon in the Cards section of the Shinhan SOL Vietnam app.

Where can I use Click to Pay?

Click to Pay is supported by more than 1,000 online shopping apps and websites worldwide and can be identified by the Click to Pay logo. In addition to desktop computers, Cardholders can also use Click to Pay when shopping on websites through a mobile browser.

Is Click to Pay secure?

Visa encrypts your card information during payment to help keep transactions secure and protected.Important: Cardholders must keep their OTP strictly confidential during Click to Pay registration and use. Never share your OTP with anyone under any circumstances.

How can I change my registered phone number or email?

To change the phone number or email address registered for Click to Pay, Cardholders may visit the nearest Shinhan Bank Branch/Transaction Office for assistance in updating their information. Once the update is completed, Cardholders can sync the new information with Click to Pay via the Shinhan SOL Vietnam app.
