KRW tuition fee transfer

Paying tuition fees to Korean universities is now more convenient and secure than ever with Shinhan SOL Vietnam app (SOL app) – just a few simple steps away:

Step 1: Log in Shinhan SOL VietNam

Note: In case, you do not have an account at Shinhan SOL Vietnam App, please download our app via App Store/Google Play and register new user and new e-KYC account.

Step 2: After log-in, select tab “Transfer“ (Domestic/Overseas)

Step 3: Select “Overseas Transfer”

Step 4: At section “REMITTANCE PURPOSE”, select “Tuition Fee/Hospital Fee, Expenses for overseas study/Medical Treatment by foreign party invoice”

Step 5: At section “CREDIT INFORMATION”

- Select “A” (Input Swift Code)
Swift code: SHBKKRSEXXX to transfer to Shinhan Bank Korea (Or Swift code of any other banks in Korea)

- At field “Account number”: input your Korea University’s account number.

- At field “Receiver name”: input your Korea University’s name.

- At field “Receiver phone number”: input your Korea University’s phone number.

Step 6: At section “TRANSACTION INFORMATION”

- At field “Type of currency”: select “KRW”

- At field “Transfer Amount”: input your tuition fee amount

- At field “Transaction fee”: select “SHARED”

- At field “Debit account for fee remittance”: select your account number for collecting fee by The Bank.

- At field “Description 1,2,3,4”: input as sample. Sample description: TUITION FEE PAYMENT, STUDENT NAME, PASSPORT NUMBER, DATE OF BIRTH

(Note: Please input the payment details as specified on the tuition fee invoice/notice)

Step 7: At field “UPLOADING SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS”

Please upload as followings

  • Valid passport
  • Valid overseas study Visa
  • Tuition fee invoice/notice provided by Korea University

Note: The supporting documents will be required to process transaction by The Bank

Step 8: Read and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of Shinhan Bank Vietnam, then click “Next” to continue

Step 9: Review all the information entered. If everything matches, click “Confirm” to continue

Step 10: Biometric verification of the transaction, then click “Continue”

Step 11: After successful authentication, then click "Finish" to continue

Step 12: Enter your pin number (M-OTP, Online A-OTP, Token) to complete the transaction

※ Notice

  1. Based on uploaded Tuition Slip/Passport/Visa your transaction will be processed by Shinhan Bank Vietnam.
  2. Be careful to upload right documents, and input right information (Receive account number and Tuition fee amount) based on your tuition fee slip from Korea University. Incorrect documents or information may result in payment delays or cancellations.
  3. You could transfer not only tuition fees but also living expenses. Please visit Shinhan Bank Korea for opening an account in Korea
  4. With the correct documents and information, your KRW tuition fee transfer transaction will be processed within at least 1 working day before the payment deadline.
  5. If a tuition refund is required due to withdrawal or admission cancellation, please provide your University your bank account number for the refund.
