Shinhan Bank Vietnam opened Vung Tau Transaction Office
Ho Chi Minh City, on 18th November 2024 – Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (“Shinhan Bank”) officially opened Vung Tau Transaction Office (“Vung Tau T.O”) at No. 63 Tran Hung Dao Street, Ward 1, Vung Tau City, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. This is the second transaction office of the Bank in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, in addition to Phu My Branch.

Shinhan Bank Vietnam opened Thu Duc Transaction Office
Ho Chi Minh City, 04th November 2024 – Shinhan Bank Vietnam (“Shinhan Bank”) officially opened Thu Duc Transaction Office at No.754 Kha Van Can Street, Linh Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. The opening of Thu Duc Transaction Office raised the total number of Shinhan Bank’s branches and transaction offices to 53 nationwide.

Shinhan Bank Vietnam is the lead arranger for syndicated term loan facility to finance For Tra Khuc 2 Hydropower Project, Quang Ngai
Ho Chi Minh City, November 12th 2024 – The signing ceremony of the syndicated term loan facility agreement to finance for Tra Khuc 2 Hydropower Project took place at the Head Office of Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (“Shinhan Bank Vietnam”). The syndicated loan has a total committed value of up to VND 740 billion, with the participation of 3 banks: Bank of China (Hong Kong) - Ho Chi Minh City branch, Woori Bank Vietnam and led by Shinhan Bank Vietnam, which is acting as the loan’s lead bank and collateral management agent.

Shinhan Bank Vietnam launches QR code payment service in Thailand and Cambodia
Ho Chi Minh City, on 07th October 2024 – Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (“Shinhan Bank”) officially launched cross-border payment service via QR Code in two Southeast Asia markets, including: Thailand and Cambodia. The launching of QR Code payment service simultaneously in Thailand and Cambodia of Shinhan Bank is suitable and strictly follows contents of Document No. 437/HHNH-PLNV of Vietnam Banking Association on accelerating the bilateral retail payments via QR Code between countries in the region; as well as follows the policy of promoting cashless payment according to the Resolution No. 52/2024/NĐ-CP of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). Simultaneously, that also demonstrates efforts of the Bank in the journey of accelerating digital transformation progress.
