Dear Valued Customers,

To increase security when making transactions at ATMs, Shinhan Bank Vietnam recommend customer DO NOT make transaction if any of the followings unusual signs is detected:

• The card reader area shows signs of peeling, strange devices being glued, connected abnormally, or having difficulty inserting the card into the card reader (to copy information on customer's card).
• There is camera installed in any positions where the customer's PIN can be seen during the transaction.
• The ATM’s pin-pad shows signs of being replaced, bulging higher than normal, feels loose/unnatural to use or has small pieces of plastic/adhesive tape on the pin-pad (to collect user fingerprints and passwords).

When detecting the above signs at Shinhan Bank ATMs (before or after transaction), Customers SHOULD:

• Stop making transaction at that ATM and switch to another ATM.
• Immediately contact 1900 1577or contact the nearest Branch/T.O to report the ATM’s status. (Please refer to the location of Shinhan Bank’s Branch/T.O at link)

Moreover, to enhance security when using Bank cards at ATMs, Customers SHOULD:

• Change the PIN for the Bank card periodically.
• Cover the pin-pad with your hand when entering the PIN.
• Prioritize using the cash withdrawal function via the Shinhan SOL Vietnam application when withdrawing money at Shinan Bank ATMs (Please refer to the Shinhan SOL Vietnam application user guide at the link)
