In context of recent indications of unauthorized access attempts to the National Credit Information Center (CIC) system, Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (Shinhan Bank) would like to inform you as follows:
We strictly comply with the regulations on CIC reporting in accordance with the Decrees of the State Bank of Vietnam. Accordingly, the following customer data is kept under ABSOLUTE CONFIDENTIALITY by Shinhan Bank in line with international standards, and is NOT stored at CIC, including:
- Electronic Banking login information (username, password, biometric data)
- Debit card and credit card numbers
- CVV/CVC security codes
- Demand deposit account information
Shinhan Bank strongly advises customers to:
- Stay updated through official sources and remain vigilant against fraudulent calls/messages impersonating the bank and requesting confidential information.
- Never share OTPs, passwords, or click on any links in emails or messages under any circumstances.
- Only log in via the official Shinhan SOL Vietnam mobile application or the official Internet Banking website at https://online.shinhan.com.vn/global.shinhan.
