How to create and join Group

Step 1: Group Owner logs in to the Shinhan SOL Vietnam application.

Step 2: Select "Group Management" utility and create a new Group

Step 3: Invite Members by sharing the QR code

Step 4: Members scan the QR code via Group Management utility to request to join

Step 5: Group Owner approves requests to join of Member

What are the Group Management utility and SOL Club account?

- Group Management utility: A utility on the SOL App that allows customers to create Group and send deposit requests, share group-related information, and access right to the SOL Club account details with Members

- SOL Club account: A demand deposit account created to support the use of the Group Management utility. Each Group has a corresponding SOL Club account (Demand Deposit Account) which belongs to the Group Owner for Members to transfer money into.

The SOL Club account does not support cash withdrawal, card issuance, e-wallet mapping, overdraft, or term deposit, installment deposit from this account.

Who is the Group Owner?

The Group Owner is the person who creates the Group and is the sole owner of the SOL Club account linked to that Group.

How many Groups can a Group Owner create?

Each customer can create up to 10 Groups.
If the maximum number of Groups has been reached, the Group Owner must close an existing Group before creating a new one.

Who is a Member and what are the requirements?

A Member is a person approved by the Group Owner to join the Group via SOL application

How many Groups can a Member join?

A customer can join up to 10 Groups as a Member, including both pending and approved Groups (excluding Groups where the customer is the Group Owner).If the maximum number of joined Groups is reached, the Member must leave an existing Group or withdraw a pending join request before joining a new one.

How many maximum users for 01 Group?

Each Group can have up to 100 users, including 1 Group Owner and Members.

Can the closed Group and linked SOL Club Account be restored?

The Group and its linked SOL Club account will be permanently closed and cannot be reopened.

Can a Member withdraw money from the SOL Club account?

Only the Group Owner (account holder) has the right to perform debit transactions (such as transfers out).
Members can only transfer money into the account and view transaction history.

How does the "Deposit Request" work?

Only the Group Owner can create a deposit request to Members
For requests sent to no more than 20 Members, the Group Owner may set different contribution amounts for each Member.
Each Group Owner can create up to 5 transfer requests per hour for a Group.

Is the SOL Club account a joint account?

No, the SOL Club account is not a joint account.
It is an individual demand deposit account owned by a single customer.
