PCI - DSS Certificated assessed Broadband Security (Korea) recognizes the Bank's constant efforts in improving, upgrading information technology infrastructures, in order to meet and comply with strict principles in customer data security, especially in online card transactions.

The award recognizes Shinhan Bank’s expertise and professionalism in achieving an outstanding level in operation, focusing on Strait-Through Processing (STP) of 99.9%. With this standard, according to the statistics, the global average ratio is 99.3%, it is 98.9% in the region and it is 99.8% in Vietnam. Shinhan Bank has been continuing to strive to build, operate the international payment transaction processing quickly and effectively, in order to ensure the inquiry ratio at the lowest level.
ISO 27001:2022 Certificate on Information Security
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an international standard in information security management, giving the newest requirements on setup, operation, maintenance and constant improvement of the ISMS. Shinhan Bank is one of the first banks in Vietnam receiving this Certificate, affirming a proactive approach of the Bank in ensuring data security protection, as well as strongly committing to protecting financial and asset data of the customers and corporate information data against to cyber security threats.
