For security purpose, we will require OTP when transacting online
Update your address & landline phone
When you change your address and/or landline phone, you must update your information to the Bank.
To update your details:
INTERNET BANKING
Step 1: Log in Internet Banking
Step 2: Choose “Settings”
Step 3: Choose “User management”
Step 4: Choose “Change customer information”
Step 5: Input your new address/ phone number
Step 6: Choose “Confirm”
SOL APP
Step 1: Log in SOL App
Step 2: Tap “Settings”
Step 3: Tap “General”
Step 4: Tap “Customer information”
Step 5: Input your new address/ phone number
Step 6: Tap Save
Change account password
Your account may be registered with or without password according to your demand. However, we are highly recommended to encourage you to register a password for your account for a better security.
To change or reset your account password:

Step 1: Log in Internet Banking
Step 2: Choose Settings
Step 3: Choose “Account management”
Step 4: Choose “Manage account password”
Step 5: Follow the prompts to complete your demand
SOL APP
Step 1: Log in SOL App
Step 2: Tap “Account”
Step 3: Tap to account which you want to change password
Step 4: Tap “Manage”
Step 5: Tap “Change password”
Step 6: Tap “Convert/change”
Step 7: Follow the prompts to complete your demand
Register/ terminate SMS service for account
- SMS service supports for automatic balance change notification, notifying the account's financial information through the telephone number that the customer officially registers with the Bank to use the service mobile messaging through the Bank's system
- Fee and charge for SMS service
- Upon demand, you can register/terminate SMS service to receive bank’s notice on account transactions, card transaction and others bank information by online.

Step 4: Choose “SMS service registration”

Step 4: Tap "SMS service"
Step 5: At “fee collection account”, Select/unselect an account.
Step 6: At notice account setting, select/unselect account for registering /terminating SMS service
Step 7: Click agree with terms and condition
Step 8: Tap “Save”
Change to Mobile Phone Number Account
- The Mobile Phone Number Account Conversion service is to allow you to change your account number to a mobile phone number, which can be used as a replacement for the account number to make in-out money transfer transactions on Internet Banking /SOL application (within Shinhan Bank and to other banks).
- With Mobile Phone Number Account Conversion service, both the account holder and money senders will no longer have difficulty remembering a long string of digits, the account number also the telephone number will be easier to remember.
- Currently, you can only change account number to mobile phone number, change account holder name to a nickname or shop brand-name has not been done yet.

Step 3: Choose “Mobile No. Account Conversion”

Change PIN for QR code payment
- In order to meet customer’s demands for money transfer, payment quickly, without a card or cash, Shinhan Bank provides the QR payment service on the SOL App to Individual customers.
- At the 1st QR payment transaction, you need to set up QR code PIN (6 digits number) for transaction authentication. After that, you can freely change/reset QR PIN code via SOL App upon demand.
To change/reset PIN for QR payment:

Step 2: Choose "Settings"
Step 3: Choose "QR PIN"
Step 4: Choose "Change" or "Reset"
Step 5: Follow the prompts to complete your demand
