General information
- Eligible customer: Vietnamese and foreign individual has demand deposit account at SHBVN and meets below requirement:
- Individual from 18 years old having full civil act capacity as regulated by law.
- Individual from 15 to under 18 years old not losing or restricted in civil act capacity.
- Foreigners must be permitted to live in Vietnam from 12 months and above - ATM Card expiry date: 6 years from issuing date.
Note: After 5 incorrect login attempts, your ATM card will be suspended. This is to keep your banking secure. To reset your ATM card PIN, please pay a visit to the nearest branch with your ID/PP to reset ATM Card PIN.
Activate/Inactive ATM card E-commerce function
The function of E-commerce on ATM card allows you to use ATM card to make payment via e-commerce website/application which provide online payment (“Website”) or top up into E-wallet connected with NAPAS.
You can active and inactive the e-commerce function at any time:
INTERNET BANKING
Step 1: Log in Internet Banking
Step 2: Choose “Cards”
Step 3: Tap “E-commerce Napas ATM Card”
Step 4: At ATM card number, select card number.
Step 5: Choose “Active/ Deactive”
Step 6: Follow the prompts to finish your demand
SOL APP
Step 1: Log in the SOL App
Step 2: Tap “Card”
Step 3: Tap “Card/PIN management”
Step 4: At ATM field,select the ATM card number which you want to activate/inactivate
Step 5: Tap “E-commerce ATM card”
Step 6: Tap “Active/ Deactive”
Step 7: Follow the prompts to finish your demand
Change ATM card PIN
If you remember your old PIN, you can change your ATM card PIN by yourself at: Shinhan Branch, Shinhan ATMs; ARS system of Contact Center 19001577, Internet Banking/ SOL App.
You must pay a visit to the nearest branch to reset ATM card PIN.

Step 3: Choose “Manage Card/ Activation/ PIN Set-up”
Step 4: Choose “Set-up PIN here”
Step 5: Follow the prompts to finish your demand
SOL APP
Step 1: Log in SOL App
Step 2: Tap “Card”
Step 3: Tap “Card/PIN management”
Step 4: At ATM field, select ATM card which you want to change PIN
Step 5: Tap “Change PIN”
Step 6: Follow the prompts to finish your demand
Reset ATM card PIN
If you forget your ATM card PIN. You cannot reset it on Shinhan online channels. Please pay a visit to the nearest branch with your ID/PP to reset ATM Card PIN.
Change ATM card transaction limit
- Transaction Limit on ATM Card, click here
- If you want to increase the daily limit of cash withdrawal more than the default daily limit, pay a visit to a branch near you for request at the counter.
- The daily limit of cash withdrawal as customer’s request: VND 100,000,000
To change ATM card transaction limit:

Step 4: At ATM field, select ATM card which you want to change Cash withdrawal limit. Daily Transfer Limit/ Daily Pos Limit

Cash withdrawal using OTP at Shinhan ATM
You want to withdraw cash at SHBVN’s ATM without ATM card? It is easy now.
Cash withdrawal using OTP is the service which allows individual customer to generate Withdrawal OTP via SOL App, then use it to withdraw cash at SHBVN’ ATMs without ATM card.
The cash withdrawal by OTP at Shinhan ATM is applied at Shinhan Bank ATMs only. List of Shinhan Bank ATMs, click here
Note:
- “Cash withdrawal using OTP” service doesn’t apply for Joint account and minor account. (Demand Deposit Account of Minor customer)
- Demand Deposit Account of Minor customer is only permitted to deposit and receive payment transaction for Time Deposit Account/ Installment Account for such Minor Account Holder.
To withdraw cash by OTP at Shinhan ATM without ATM card, please make 2 phases as below:
1st : Generate Withdrawal OTP at SOL App
Step 1: Log in to the SOL App
Step 2: Tap “Withdraw @ATM”
Step 3: Tap “Generate OTP code”
Step 4: Input the amount you want to withdraw
Step 5: Follow the prompts to finish your demand
2nd : Withdraw cash at SHBVN’ ATMs
Step 1: Select menu “Language > Withdrawal > Withdraw via SOL App”.
Step 2: Input registered phone number.
Step 3: Input Withdrawal OTP code which was generated on SOL
Step 4: ATM system checks OTP code, if correct OTP code, ATM dispenses money and completes transaction
Report ATM card lost
If you lost your ATM card, you can report this to the Bank by Internet Banking, SOL App, call Contact Center or visit a branch.
To report ATM card lost:

Step 1: Log in Internet Banking
Step 2: Choose “Cards”
Step 3: Choose “Block Card / Unblock Card”
Step 4: Choose card need to report lost.
Step 5: Choose “Report card lost”
Step 6: Follow the prompts to finish your demand
SOL APP
Step 1: Log in to the SOL App
Step 2: Tap “Card”
Step 3: Tap “Active/ Block Lost Card”
Step 4: At ATM field, select ATM card which you want to report
Step 5: Tap “Report loss card”
