Shinhan Bank Vietnam would like to inform that we will apply new VbV 3D Secured verification method for online transaction made by Shinhan Visa Credit and Debit card from May 17th 2019.

The new VbV verification method will have the following key benefits

-     No hassle of registration shall be required for enabling VbV service

-     Safe and secured online transactions with VbV dynamic One time password (OTP) sent to cardholder’s registered mobile number

-     Convenience for using at anytime

Here is the simple guideline for customer when doing online purchase transaction with VbV 3D secured,

  1. Shopping online at any 3D secured website
  2. Enter Shinhan card details during the online transaction (card number, expiry date, CVV2/CVV)
  3. Get OTP code by clicking “Generate OTP” and receive OTP code via registered mobile number. Kindly advise customer to update the latest mobile number.
  4. Only if both OTP and the card details entered are correct, the transaction shall be authorized
  5. Transaction completed

 

Please ensure your latest mobile number is updated with Shinhan Bank Vietnam to receive the OTP
