According to Decision No.630/QĐ-NHNN dated 31 March 2017 on implementing safe & security solutions in online payment, Shinhan Bank launches new security device named Advanced OTP (A-OTP) to enhance higher verification and security.
From 04/01/2019, customers can come to Branch/TO to register A-OTP device.
Applied for:
Individuals with daily limit on Internet Banking/ Mobile Banking over VND 1 Bil.
Corporates with daily limit on Internet Banking over VND 5 Bil.
From 04/03/2019, Shinhan Bank will apply new limit for online transactions according to the SBV’s regulation as below:

From 04/01/2019 until 31/03/2019, if you want to maintain your current daily limit, please come to the nearest branches/TOs to change the security device corresponding with current limit FREE of charge.
For customers using security card and having overseas transfer demand, you can log in SOL app to request the M-OTP issuance instead of coming to branches/TOs.
After 04/03/2019, if you do not come to branches/TOs to change the security device, you can still continue to use your current security one. Shinhan Bank will automatically adjust limit down to comply with allowed transfer limit of these devices.
