The return of the Covid-19 pandemic around mid-2021 has had a significant impact on the economy and employees. Customers are facing financial difficulties as a result of the decline in income, that makes it hard for them to arrange monthly payments to the bank.

In order to join hands with the Government to overcome the consequences of the pandemic and share the financial burden, as well as to accompany customers to overcome this difficult period,

Shinhan Bank Vietnam Ltd. (Shinhan Bank) has quickly implemented policies to support customers. The policies will work on rescheduling debt repayment, reducing interest rates and keeping the same debt group for customers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a result, customers with consumer loans who are not able to repay their loans on time due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic can request a loan restructuring. Shinhan Bank will consider and assess whether it is capable of fully repaying and/or interest under the rescheduled repayment term.

Requests supporting will be evaluated and approved on a case-by-case rule using the best method for each customer. Please contact the nearest branches/transaction offices or Contact Center at 1900 1577 for more information.
