On 7th September 2016, more than 80 Shinhan Bank employees joined hands with 3M Life Skills Club to organize “Happy Full-moon Festival” for more than 500 kids and 500 local people with unfortunate circumstances at Cong Hai Commune, Thuan Bac District, Ninh Thuan province.
This is the third consecutive year that Shinhan Bank coordinated with 3M Club to organize fun-filling mid-autumn activities in remote areas as a meaningful way to support the community.
This time, “Happy Full-moon Festival” was organized at Cong Hai elementary school (Cong Hai Commune, Thuan Bac District, Ninh Thuan province). Shinhan Bank Vietnam employees together with 3M club volunteers participated in various activities like cooking, students hair-styling, medical examinations, medicines distribution and presents delivery to local kids and people in poor living conditions.
At this event, Shinhan Bank also awarded scholarships and presents to kids with excellent study records. And finally, various items like clothes, old appliances, etc. were sold at “Sharing Markets” to further support local people.
After this charity day, Shinhan bank members took part in several exciting teambuilding activities and spent time sightseeing Ninh Thuan beautiful scenery. The short trip was a great chance for Shinhan employees to have relaxing time and stronger bonding among staff.
Shinhan Bank community activities focuses on supporting local communities where it operates. Since 2014, Shinhan Bank Vietnam has coordinated with 3M Life Skills Club to successfully organize events to distribute presents and interesting entertainment activities for poor local people in remote areas. Shinhan Bank hold other meaningful activities such as happy charity meals, bikes giving for poor students, etc.
