To keep up with demand for the precious gift of life, Shinhan Bank's first blood donation drive for the year was conducted on August 08, 2013 at Shinhan Bank Vietnam’s Head Office.
Over 100 of the bank's staff and even BOM of Shinhan Bank Vietnam joined in the event to donate blood.
The blood donation drive was organized as part of the Shinhan Bank Vietnam’s GYF & CSR activities in which one of its primary roles is aimed at serving the local community and meeting its needs.
The bank's senior management team participation in the campaign were Mr. Heo Young Taeg – General Director of Shinhan Bank Vietnam, Mr. Lee Won Tae – HR & GA Director, Mr. Park Tae Jong – Marketing Support and Retail Business Development Director, Director of all departments in Head Office and General Manager of Shinhan Bank’s branches in Vietnam.
The Shinhan Bank blood donation drive held was divided into 15 sessions that began at 07 am and ended at 10 am in the morning.
The Blood donation drive was an opportunity for Shinhan Bank Vietnam to contribute to the Vietnamese community, stating, “All it needed was a few minutes of my time and what I have in return is the opportunity to help save a life.”
