The running event named "Shinhan 30 Years Online Marathon" was initiated through the Vietrace365 platform from June 30th to July 30th, covering a race distance of 30 km. Organized over the course of a month, this undertaking attracted participation from 7,500 athletes. These participants hailed from diverse communities, associates, customers, and internal staff of the Shinhan Financial Group in Vietnam, forming a total of 200 competing teams.

According to corporate representatives, the collective achievements of athletes were translated into monetary contributions per kilometer to support underprivileged students. After 30 days, the cumulative distance covered by the event reached 677,000 km, with an average of over 90 km run per athlete. This endeavor, assessed by the responsible authorities, sparked a surge in sports training activities, disseminating a healthy lifestyle ethos to the entire workforce while simultaneously creating significant value for the community.

The direct outcome of Shinhan Bank's endeavors, totaling 380 million Vietnamese dong, was presented to various programs, including Vietnam Television's "Pair of Loving Leaves" initiative. The intended utilization of these funds is to facilitate the renovation of the educational facilities in Du Tien commune, Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province. This particular location accommodates more than 50 ethnically diverse mountainous region students, along with provisions for meals and gifts, anticipating the upcoming academic year. A bank representative shared, "Through this activity, we aspire to provide these students with an improved learning environment, nurturing love, and confidence, and accompanying them to reach high and far in their dreams".

Shinhan Bank Vietnam prioritizes sustainability within its corporate social responsibility strategy. Since entering the Vietnamese financial market in 1993, the bank has consistently engaged in various projects and programs for the betterment of the community. The total contribution amount to nationwide social welfare programs exceeds 79 billion Vietnamese dong.
