Escrow Account
As an escrow agent, we hold assets as an independent third party on behalf of others that are exchanging money. Our reliability is unflinching. We hold the assets and distribute them to the contract holders in line with the terms of the escrow agreement.
Bond Agent
As a Security agent, we represent the secured parties to receive and manage the security assets:
Pledge assets to the Security Register to secure all payment obligations of the issuer arising out of the bonds.
Monitor events of the pledged assets and work with the issuer and securing parties to supplement additional security assets.
As an Agent bank, we do register, deposit, pay and manage the transfer of the bonds:
Manage and update the Register Book upon any modifications in the information of bondholder.
Finalize and provide the list of bondholders for the payments of coupons and/or principals and/or bond redemptions.
Finalize the list of bondholders for attending meeting or collecting their opinions.
As a Paying agent of the bonds, we are responsible for the followings:
Calculate and notify related parties of the total incurred amount paid by the issuer to bondholders in according with the bond regulations.
Receive all the payments from the issuer and distribute a respective amount to each bondholder with account registered in the Register Book.
Fund services
Shinhan Fund Services offer Fund Supervisory, NAV calculation and fund accounting, with a full range of regulatory financial reporting. Our services are managed in-house under “client oriented” core value and available to clients 24/7
Fund Administration
Record the transactions of a fund, including record the changes of cash inflows and outflows of the fund.
Prepare the fund’s financial statements, including cooperate with and assist the auditors in auditing the fund.
Determine the net asset value of the fund, the net asset value per fund certificate unit in accordance with applicable law and the fund's charter.
Do other activities in accordance with applicable law and the fund's charter.
Supervising Bank
Supervise and ensure that the fund management companies well manage the public funds; the directors or general directors of securities investment companies manage the company assets in compliance with applicable laws and the charters of securities investment funds or securities investment companies.
Certify reports prepared by the fund management companies or securities investment companies on public funds
Supervise the observance of the reporting and information disclosure requirements by the fund management companies or securities investment companies in accordance with applicable laws.
Report to the State Securities Commission on detected violations of law or charters of securities investment funds or securities investment companies committed by the fund management companies, securities investment companies or concerned organizations or individuals.
Coordinate with fund management companies or securities investment companies in periodically comparing accounting books, financial statements and trading activities of public funds or securities investment companies.
