Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (“Shinhan Bank”) would like to warn customers about fraudulent emails impersonating Shinhan Bank to collect Online Banking login information. These emails are sent from support@shinhhanbank.com.vn and contain a button/link labeled “Verify Information.”
Shinhan Bank would like to confirm that:
- support@shinhhanbank.com.vn is not an official email address of Shinhan Bank and shows clear signs of impersonation.
- Shinhan Bank never requests customers to verify personal information via links sent through email or SMS.
- In compliance with Circular 50/2024/TT-NHNN, Shinhan Bank does not send links to customers via email or SMS.
- Recommendation: Please carefully review all emails and messages and absolutely refrain from clicking on any links or attachments from suspicious sources.
